Do the children wear uniforms? Do we go on field trips? What is the tuition? I have a different question. What is the maximum class size? 24 students in each class. Back to top 5 Do we have teaching assistants? Yes, one assistant per class. Back to top 5 What are the kindergarten hours? Full Day 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM. Half-Day 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Back to top 5 Do we offer extended hours? The Regional School has a before school program starting at 7:00 AM and an after school program (2:45 PM – 5:00PM). Registration is required; the Regional School charges a fee. Back to top 5 Do we offer a hot lunch program? The full day kindergarten students have lunch in the Regional School cafeteria with the first and second grade. Children may purchase a hot lunch or bring a lunch from home. Back to top 5 Does the kindergarten supply snacks? No. Children eat better when they bring in a snack and juice of their choice. Also, with food allergies, we prefer that every child bring in their own snack each day. Back to top 5 Do the children wear uniforms? Yes. A comfortable, practical uniform is worn. The children wear blue pants or shorts, a white polo shirt and sneakers every day. One day a week the children have gym time; the gym uniform is purchased through the Regional School store. Back to top 5 Do we go on field trips? Yes. We go on one field trip in December to the Kelley Library to share in the giving tree with hats and mittens for needy children. Back to top 5 What is the tuition? Tuition is set each February by the Parish Finance Council. The tuition for 2005-2006 is $3800 for the Full Day program and $1900 for the Half-Day program.
